Maryanne (Sloney) Griscavage, age 84, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026. She was born on April 1, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Oliver) Sloney.
Maryanne was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Wellsboro Women’s Chorus, and Tioga County Club. She enjoyed collecting antiques, playing golf, watching wildlife, and teaching aerobics.
Maryanne loved spending time with her family and friends.
She was the director of volunteer services at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA, for over 25 years.
Maryanne is survived by a son: Charles (Jennifer) Griscavage of Mechanicsburg, PA, daughters: Susan Kowalski of Myrtle Beach, SC, Lisa (Mike) Pietropola of Mechanicsburg, PA, sister: Barbara Cimino of Newark, DE, grandchildren: Eric Warner, Marisa Kowalski, Mitchell Kowalski, Michael Pietropola, Collin Pietropola, Emma Pietropola, Hunter Cleveland, Tara Griscavage, friend and caregiver: Jack Schmacher of Gaines, PA.
She was predeceased by a daughter: Deborah Donahue, grandson: Medard Kowalski, brothers: Walter Sloney, Jr., John Paul Sloney, sister: Carol Ann Sloney.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 10:00 am at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Wellsboro, PA, with Rev. Jacek Bialkowski officiating.
