Allen and Trudeaux qualify for PSAC Championships at UB Alumni Invite

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Mansfield University women’s track and field team competed on April 17, at the UB Alumni Invite hosted by University of Buffalo, in Buffalo, N.Y.

A herd of Amiyah NguyenWyoming TrudeauxAlyssa Parks and Samantha Newman took first in the 4 x 100 meter relay at 49.50.

Marissa Allen finished third (11:54.05) in the 3000 meter steeplechase, which is a PSAC qualifying time.

The second relay of the day was the 4 x 400 meter relay of Newman, Parks, Nguyen and Trudeaux that placed third with 4:08.01.

Trudeaux took fourth in the 400 meter with 58.70, which places her third in school history and is a qualifying time as well.

Parks ended high jump with a best mark of 1.46 meters placing her seventh in the final results.

Newman crossed the line in the 100 meter dash at 12.68 finishing 16th. 

Madison Ziska competed in long jump where she placed 17th with a mark of 4.87 meters.

Rebecca Knight placed 17th (8.92 meters) in shot put and 25th (28.03 meters) in hammer.

Mayla Falank finished 19th in the 5000 meter with a time of 20:35.01.

Sandra Lemus ran the 200 meter dash where she placed 23rd at 27.75.

Allyson Lewis (24th – 5:46.73) and Abigail Davies (28th – 5:55.83) participated in the 1500 meter.

Nguyen finished in 25th with a time of 13.07 in the 100 meter dash with Lemus right behind her in 27th with 13.34.

Abigail Davies made an appearance in the 800 meter finishing with a time of 2:55.64.
