SWEDEN TOWNSHIP, PA – Back on Thursday, March 19, 2026, around 6:00 PM, Pennsylvania State Police based in Coudersport conducted a traffic stop at 3198 E. 2nd Street in Sweden Township. Police stopped a 2021 gray Mazda after seeing a Title 75 Violation.
Upon further investigation, it was determined (alleged) that the passenger in the car was in possession of methamphetamine and related paraphernalia.
28-year-old Nathan Andrew Kachik of Reno, PA, was arrested and charge with the following charges –
- 35 § 780-113 §§ A32 (Misdemeanor) USE/POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPH 03/19/2026
- 35 § 780-113 §§ A16 (Misdemeanor) INT POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (Often called “Simple Possession).
Charges were filed through District Court 55-3-01.
Kachik’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday, May 15, 2026 at 10:30 AM in front of Bryan D. Phelps.
