MANSFIELD, Pa. – The Mansfield Mountaineers men’s basketball team competed on February 28, in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action against Kutztown University, to celebrate senior day. The Mountaineers got away with the win.
Sterling Scott led the Mountaineers with 23 points and 11 rebounds.
JuJu Pagan put up 21 points and Nasir Brown added 16.
The court was set ablaze this afternoon as the Mountaineers came out with something to prove.
Within the first 10 minutes of play, they were able to create a 15-point lead over the Golden Bears.
An offensive machine had been oiled up and unleashed.
Scott, with a double-double, committed to keeping the crowd entertained with a graceful offensive performance and exhilarating finishes.
A cinematic dunk after a turnover caused an audience uproar, popcorn flying everywhere.
Kutztown could not figure out a way to slow down Mansfield’s relentless offense, as they spared no one.
The Mounties had a sharp eye this afternoon, with 3 pointers raining down all throughout the game.
With all of the bullseye finishes, perhaps an archery team is in the works on the mountain.
Mansfield seniors did a fantastic job with their last performance in decker gymnasium, putting up points and leading their teammates to victory with a final score of 106-79.
This concludes the 2025-2026 Mansfield Mountaineer Men’s Basketball Season.
