Ulster Man Facing DUI and Other Charges After Crash

BRADFORD COUNTY, PA – Back on Sunday, January 11, 2026, around 1:20 PM f ire crews from Franklin Township Fire Department and an ambulance from Greater Valley EMS along Pennsylvania State Police out of Towanda responded to a single vehicle crash on US 220 near its intersection with Blue Jay Lane in Ulster Township, PA.

According to police, 57-year-old Jervis Lavern Goodrich of Ulster, PA, was operating a 2000 Ford Ranger when he was traveling south along US 220 when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway and struck
a utility pole. The vehicle then flipped over onto the driver side where it came to a final rest facing east blocking both north and south lanes of travel.

Jervis Goodrich was charged with the following;

  • DUI/UNSAFE DRIVING – (Misdemeanor).
  • RESTRICTIONS ON ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES – (Summary).
  • CARELESS DRIVING – GENERAL RULE – (Summary).
  • (Failure to) DRIVE AT SAFE SPEED – (Summary).
  • (Failure to) DRIVE ON ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC – SINGLE – (Summary).

Goodrich is set to appear before Magisterial District Judge Allen P. Page III, for his preliminary hearing which is set for Friday, March 3, 2026, at 10:30 AM.
