Annette L. Wakley, age 92 of Painted Post, NY, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Absolut Care in Painted Post, NY. Annette was born October 10, 1933, in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Cecil and Anna (Smith) Losinger. She was the bar and restaurant manager for Corey Creek Golf Club in Mansfield, PA. Annette enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting, sewing, playing Bingo, and going for walks.
Annette is survived by sons, John (Linda) Bailey of Painted Post, NY, and Joseph (Jessica) Bailey of Caton, NY; brother, Howard (Denise) Losinger of Covington, PA; grandchildren, Eric (Hollie) Lyon, Lacy Bailey, Chase Bailey, Dillon (Lexi) Bailey, Brittany Smith, and James Bailey; 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; and son-in-law Wayne Smith of Lindley, NY;. She was preceded in death by her son, James T. Bailey in 1987, her daughter Sylvia Smith in 2022, sisters Lillian Losinger and Sandra Reynolds; and brothers, Cecil Losinger and Lloyd Losinger.
