DA Wilson Release issued in January 2026.
BRADFORD COUNTY, PA – 29-year-old Troy Aaron Stone of Wyalusing, PA, was sentenced last month to a minimum of eight months to a maximum of five years in a State Correctional Institution, together with a $1,500.00 fine, for the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, a Misdemeanor of the First Degree, second offense in the past ten years.
Stone was previously convicted of multiple offenses including Homicide by Vehicle and Aggravated Assault by Motor Vehicle and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol back in 2016, following a fatal crash in Wyalusing Township. Stone served a significant time in State Prison for those offenses, and was on State Parole at the time of this offense.
“Fortunately, Stone’s actions did not harm anyone but himself this time, but it just goes to show how seriously we need to take Driving Under the Influence offenses,” said District Attorney Richard Wilson.
Stone will serve an additional “parole hit” because this offense happened while he was on parole for a previous offense. “It will be quite some time before Stone is even eligible to be released from State Prison, and when he is ultimately released, he will be on supervision for a lengthy period of time once again,” confirmed District Attorney Wilson.
