BRADFORD COUNTY, PA – Back on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, around 4:08 PM, Pennsylvania State Police based in Towanda responded to the report of a child operating a motor vehicle.
Troopers were able to locate the vehicle and the juvenile a short time later.
During the investigation it was determined the 11-year-old male juvenile had driven a 2012 Chevrolet vehicle.
The child’s mother, 40-year-old Karyn Marie Brotzman of Canton, PA, was charged with a 3rd Degree Felony for Endangering the Welfare of Children – Parent/Guardian/Other Commits Offense.
An unsecured bail of $5,000 was set against Brotzman. A formal arraignment was set for Monday, February 23, 2026, at 8:30 AM in Courtroom #2 in front of the Honorable Evan Williams III.
