Driver Uninjured When Truck Hits Tree

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, PA – A single vehicle accident in which a truck had smashed into a tree on Monday, January 12, 2026, was reported around 5:15 PM. Millerton fire personnel were quick to respond to the area of 2128 Button Hill Road in Jackson Township.

A passerby reported the crash and informed 911 that a Ford Bronco had struck a tree and that there was no one around or inside the vehicle.

Millerton fire personnel were on scene within two minutes of the actual dispatch. The accident and provided information was confirmed as a tow truck arrived on scene. The driver had to walk down the road until he could get cell phone reception. At that time, he was able to place a call to the towing company.

Since the vehicle was off the road and the tow truck was already on scene, a recall of Millerton fire units was issued around 5:20 PM.

The driver was not injured in this incident.
