Dorothy A. “Dottie” (Hazelton) Bush, age 87, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Thursday, January 8, 2026. She was born on Sunday, October 30, 1938, in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of the late Ransford and Olga (Lundquist) Hazelton.
She was married to Gary C. Bush for 54 years.
Dottie was formerly employed by Mergenthaler, Super Duper, Country Owl Florist and Field Flowers Florist.
She was a member of the Wellsboro Firemen’s Ladies Auxiliary. Dottie enjoyed camping, gardening, going for rides with her husband, Buddy her cat and spending time with her family.
She is survived by a son: Robert (Earlene) Shaw, daughters: Brenda (Brad) Urey, Linda (Mike) Tomlinson, grandchildren: Douglas (Rachel) Tomlinson, Lucas (Haley) Starkweather, Jessica (Evan) Wawrykow, Joshua Moroschok, Alisha Shaw, several great grandchildren, stepdaughters: Anjie Bush, Amy Bush.
Dottie was predeceased by her first husband: Robert E. Shaw, son: Gary A. Shaw, several brothers and a sister.
A private family funeral was held at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. www.carletonfh.com Wellsboro, PA with Pastor Kristi A. Webster officiating. Interment was in the Wellsboro Cemetery, Wellsboro, PA.
