PSP-Towanda Release – January 1, 2026.
TOWANDA TOWNSHIP, PA – On Sunday, December 28, 2025, around 6:31 PM, Pennsylvania State Police based in Towanda, responded to a single vehicle accident in Towanda Township.
According to police, 44-year-old Tina M. Niglio of Mansfield, PA, was traveling northbound along Burlington Turnpike in the right lane of travel when her vehicle left the roadway while she was negotiating a left curve in the roadway. Niglio’s 2020 Chevrolet Malibu went off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch, then struck a tree. The car was disabled due to the crash and it was towed from the scene by Windy Hill Towing.
There were no injuries as a result of the accident. Police cited Niglio with 33091 DRIVING ON ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC SINGLE. (Failure to drive on roadways laned for traffic).
