Canton Man Facing Felony Charges After Allegedly Assaulting Troopers

CANTON, PA – On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, around 8:30 PM, Pennsylvania State Troopers were investigating an separate incident. While investigating Troopers made contact with 39-year-old Steven Hall of Canton, PA, in the area of 229 Troy Street in Canton Borough. While attempting to place Hall in the back of a marked patrol unit Hall allegedly kicked and kneed Troopers.

Steven Hall was charged with two counts of 2nd Degree Felony – AGGRAVATED ASSAULT – ATTEMPTS TO CAUSE OR CAUSES SBI TO DESIGNATED INDIVIDUALS.

Hall’s preliminary hearing is set for Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 1:00 PM in front of Magisterial District Judge Timothy M. Clark.

Hall remains in the Bradford County Correctional Facility as he was unable to post the $200,000 monetary bail.
