
Elinor Kay Witter, age 93, of Osceola, PA, passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Born on Friday, November 11, 1932, in Blossburg, PA, she was a daughter to the late Milton and Katherine (Croft) Allen.
Richard Witter married Kay in the 1950s, spending their whole lives together before his passing in 2017.
She was an independent, strong-willed and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Kay always said her children and grandchildren were her life. She enjoyed being crafty, was an excellent homemaker, and talented seamstress. Sewing, baking, quilling, and tending to her garden were just a few of her interests.
Kay is survived by her children; Steven Witter of Denver, CO, Amy Witter of Wellsboro, PA, Ellen (Thomas) Buffy of Centennial, CO, and Andy James Witter of Osceola, PA; as well as 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband; two sons, Michael R. and Richard G. Witter, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Linda Witter; and three siblings.
Per Kay’s wishes, no services are to be held. She will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery in Knoxville, PA. Arrangements are in the care of Kenyon Funeral Home, Inc.
