BLOSSBURG/COVINGTON/MANSFIELD, PA – Motorists are advised that a water main project is set to begin Thursday, December 18th along North Williamson Road / Main Street (Route 2005) in Blossburg Borough and Covington, Putnam, and Richmond Townships, Tioga County.
Starting on Thursday, the contractor, C&R Directional Boring, LLC., will begin a water main replacement project between the Route 15 interchange in Blossburg Borough and just south of the Route 15 interchange in Richmond Township. Work will begin in Blossburg Borough and continue north. Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging or shoulder restrictions between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
C&R Directional Boring, LLC., is the prime contractor on this water main project for Upper Tioga Regional Authority. Work on the project is anticipated to be completed in December 2026.
