Betty J. Henninger, age 72 of Gillett, PA, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Betty was born July 12, 1953 in Troy, PA, a daughter of William and Frances (Scott) Lee.
She graduated from Troy High School and Elmira Business School. Betty worked as a receptionist at Guthrie Medical in Southside. She also worked at Southside Pudgies, and Metamora in Elkland, PA. Betty enjoyed walking, car rides in the country, and dancing.
Betty is survived by her boyfriend, Lester Lee of Millerton, PA; siblings, Audrey Folk of Nichols, NY, Bea (Jack) Martin of Millerton, PA, Peggy Huber of Waverly, NY, Ruth (Norm Card) Lee of Big Pond, PA, Arlene Lee of Waverly, NY, Bill (Jolie) Lee of Sayre, PA, Nathan (Dianne) Lee of Troy, PA, Minnie Lee of Erin, NY, Janice (Doug) Wilcox of Greensboro, NC, and Cathy (Rick) Camacho of Addison, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Bob Henninger and Mark Keener, and brothers Lyle Satterlee and Robert Satterlee.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Big Pond cemetery, Big Pond, PA.
