Mountaineer Trio Earns All-PSAC Teams Recognition

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Jenna DukeElla du Plessis and Sophia Vadnais highlight the three Mountaineers from the Mansfield field hockey program to earn All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) honors for the 2025 season, announced by the conference on Mon. (Nov. 10) morning.

Duke and du Plessis represented the red and black on the Second Team, while Vadnais was one of only two backs selected to the Third Team. The honor marks Duke’s second career All-Conference selection, while du Plessis and Vadnais each earned their first All-PSAC recognition.

This group charged the offense, combining for 50%​ of their assists and 46% of their goals. This trio marks at least three Mounties named to an All-Conference team under coach Brittany Hansrote‘s tenure for the third consecutive season. 

Duke earns a spot on the All-PSAC Second Team, her second consecutive bid to this team. The forward posted her name across multiple top ten categories in the PSAC including third in shots and shots on goal, fifth in goals, and tied for fifth in points. To highlight her sensational sophomore campaign, Duke led the team in goals (14), points (34), shots (70), shots on goal (44), and game-winning goals (3).

du Plessis finishes her Mountaineer career with her first All-Conference nod to the Second Team. The senior was an assist artist, sending the fifth most assists in the PSAC with eight on the year. Helping guide the attacking line of the Mounties, du Plessis finished with the second most shots (54) and shots on goal (28) on the team.

Vadnais used her final season as a Mountie by earning a Third Team selection, behind her offensive presence as the center of the defensive line. The New York native finished with second most goals for the red and black with six and carried an assist as the important injector on a Mansfield team that finished fifth in the nation in penalty corners.
