CORRY, PA – On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, a 3-alarm fast moving fire destroyed Hensa Stamping, formerly Chase Manufacturing located at 9 Pennsylvania Avenue in Corry, PA.

Around 4:17 PM fire units were dispatched to the burning business. Heavy black smoke was reported seen coming from the 40-year old business as fire crews rushed to the scene. Firefighters arriving on scene scrambled to battle the growing fire. The fire continued to burn until flames stretched across the full length of the building. Fire crews from Erie, Crawford, and Warren counties, along with fire units from Chautauqua County, New York assisted with extinguishing this blaze.

Two employees were inside the building when the fire started, and both were able to escape the building uninjured.
Hensa Stamping was a full-service stamper and fabricator of metal products with a 40-year history. They serve customers in the plumbing, medical, furniture, power supply, and shipping industries. It is unknown how many employees have just lost their jobs due to this devastating fire.



There were no reported injuries at the fire scene. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined or at least released to the public.
