TIOGA, PA – A single vehicle accident sent one victim to the Corning Hospital late Saturday evening, November 15, 2025.
Tioga fire units and and an ambulance along with Lawrenceville fire crews were dispatched to the area of 293 Tower Hill Road in Tioga Township around 10:54 PM, as 911 Center had received a crash notification from the vehicle involved.
Responding units had no idea what they were going to find when they got on scene. However, Tioga fire personnel were first to come upon the incident by 11:01 PM and they found that one vehicle had gone off the roadway and struck a tree.
Fire apparatus from Tioga and Lawrenceville arrived on scene, as did an ambulance from Tioga.
The crash victim was extricated from the vehicle by 11:20 PM and was loaded into the ambulance where they received further treatment by EMS. By 11:31 PM, the patient was heading to Corning Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Pennsylvania State Police made it to the accident location by 11:40 PM and the scene was turned over to them by Tioga Command. At 11:46 PM Tioga and Lawrenceville units were cleared to return back to their stations.
