1 Injured in 2 Vehicle Crash in Lycoming County

LEWIS TOWNSHIP, PA – Fire crews from Trout Run Volunteer Fire Company and Hepburn Township Volunteer Fire Company, as well as medics from Lycoming County responded to a two vehicle accident early Thursday morning, October 30, 2025, in Lewis Township around 8:49 AM.

The crash occurred in the 12,800 block of Route 15 in the southbound lane (Just past the Turkey Ranch and before Trout Run). The vehicles involved included a black Toyota sedan and a tractor trailer. The car came to rest up against an embankment and facing in the wrong direction. The tractor trailer suffered damage to his front bumper.

Trout Run fire personnel confirmed that the driver of the passenger vehicle suffered minor injuries. It is unknown if the driver was transported to the hospital for treatment or not.

Hepburn firefighters helped the driver of the Toyota and the victim was taken out of the car from the passenger side. Firefighters also handled and traffic control.

The car was towed from the scene and the tractor trailer was said to have been able to continue onward, however, FNN could not confirm that information.

Pennsylvania State Police is handling the investigation into this accident, it was raining at the time of the accident.
